How to Get to the Disneyland Resort

If you’ve ever wanted to buy a Mickey Mouse shirt or a Muppets t-shirt, Art of Animation is the place to go. You can find everything from Muppets t-shirts to classic Mickey Mouse shirts at the Ink & Paint shop. There’s even a Skyliner station. The food court is also worth a stop, and the prices are right. But how do you get to the park?
Art of Animation is a theme park

Located in Orlando, Florida, the Art of Animation theme park is near Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests staying at Art of Animation’s nearby hotel can walk across Hourglass Lake to get to their neighboring resorts. Additionally, there is no parking fee at the Art of Animation, which makes getting around to Disney’s theme parks a breeze. It’s also a great choice if you’re traveling with kids.

Families can enjoy a relaxing stay at Art of Animation Resort, which offers family suites with separate living and sleeping areas. The suites sleep six people and feature two bathrooms. Guests can choose from a suite decorated with a cartoon or a classic Mickey Mouse design. Guests will also find a wide variety of merchandise at the Ink & Paint store. Guests will want to take advantage of the resort’s Early Theme Park Entry, which allows them to enter the theme park before the crowds arrive.

The Art of Animation resort falls into the Value Resort category and is near Disney’s Pop Century Resort. The resort honors the art of animation by highlighting the most popular Disney and Pixar movies, featuring storybook landscapes inspired by favorite Disney cartoons. Storybook landscapes depicting the worlds of Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid can be found throughout the resort. The art theme park offers a variety of picture opportunities for families, including a photo opportunity with a colorful seahorse.

It is a Value Resort

A family suite is an excellent value at the Art of Animation Resort. The room features a separate bedroom, living room, and kitchenette. Two bathrooms are included. It is a Value Resort, which means it is not as cheap as an All-Star Resort or a Fort Wilderness campsite, but it is still a great option for a budget-minded vacation. While there aren’t as many amenities as at a Moderate or Deluxe resort, the Art of Animation does have more room types.

Despite its high-price tag, the Art of Animation offers a lot of value for money. You can stay at this moderate-level resort with a family suite and enjoy the incredible thematic theming. However, the art rooms at this resort may not be the most luxurious accommodations. But if you’re looking for cartoon-themed rooms, this is the place to stay. If you want the Disney experience without paying top-dollar, you’ll be glad you went here.

While there are no table service restaurants at the Art of Animation, the food-court is outstanding. Landscape of Flavors is a great place for a meal, and it features an extended menu and seating areas. Hand-scooped gelato is a great choice as well. The Drop Off Pool Bar is a good place to grab a drink, or snack. During the hot summer months, you can visit the poolside to enjoy the sunset and the poolside.
It has a food court

If you’re looking for a nice lunch spot in the area, you’ll want to make sure that you stop by the food court at the Art of Animation. There are more restaurants and food courts at the other Disneyland hotels than at Art of Animation, so you’ll have plenty to choose from. The hotel has a few amenities, including an arcade, a gift shop, and dry cleaning services. Guests can also request dry cleaning services from their room phone. The Art of Animation also has several arcades and a game store.

There’s also a cafe in the lobby, the Landscape of Flavors. It’s open from 6 AM to 12 midnight and has several different options, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cafe’s colorful murals are another draw. For snacks, there’s a Market Section where you can pick up snacks and take away your food. The food court is open seven days a week, making it easy for families to find something they like for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

The food court at Art of Animation has three different locations where you can get food, including an Italian restaurant and a pizza parlor. Additionally, you can find a drop-off bar near the Big Blue Pool. All of these options offer the same high quality food and service that you’d find at any other Disney resort. Aside from the food court, the park’s food is also plentiful. Guests can grab snacks in one of the three dining areas, or sample many different types of cuisine.
It has a Skyliner station

If you are a Disneyland visitor and you want to take a fast and convenient transportation option, the Skyliner is the way to go. Unlike Disney buses, Skyliner stations are designed to reduce waiting times and increase guest satisfaction. Most of these stations are open during peak park hours. If you plan on riding the Skyliner in the summer, make sure to plan your trip early in the morning or late in the evening.

The Skyliner is open an hour before the park opens and closes. This means that it is a bit early to rope drop the parks, but that is a moving target these days. In October 2021, a new half-hour early park entry policy will be introduced. That means that passengers will not have to wait in line for a half-hour! However, the gondolas do have decent space.

There are several attractions that are close to the Disney World Skyliner station, including the Magic Kingdom and the Art of Animation. The Skyliner also services deluxe resorts, including Crescent Lake, Beach Club, and Yacht Club. Value Disney resorts also have Skyliner stations, including Art of Animation and Pop Century. These attractions are a great way to spend a day at the theme park. You can even catch a ride on a non-park day if you wish.
It is near Disney’s Hollywood Studios

If you’re looking for an affordable way to stay near Disney’s Hollywood Studios, consider staying at Art of Animation. This new Disney resort opened in May 2012 and features 1,120 family suites and 864 standard guest rooms. Originally, the resort was to be an extension of the Pop Century resort and connected to it via the hour-glass lake. While the resort’s rooms don’t have a direct view of the theme park, it has a lot of character-inspired touches.

The resort is located between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it shares a Skyliner station with Pop Century Resort. Guests can catch the Disney Skyliner to get to the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. You can also ride the Skyliner to travel to the Caribbean Beach and Riviera Resorts. Guests can use the Skyliner to get to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, or Caribbean Beach.

If you’re looking for a value-level resort near the park, consider the Art of Animation resort. This Disney Value Resort features fantastic theming and attention to detail. A few of the shops feature professional paintings and drawings of beloved Disney characters. There’s also a small pharmacy section, where you can pick up basic pharmacy items like shampoo, sunblock, and aspirin. The museum even has a cafe with colorful murals and Disney-branded merchandise.

The Lobby at the Art of Animation is playful and fun. You’ll find a large shop here, and even a playground themed after Finding Nemo. For little kids, the Art of Animation’s shop is the perfect place to buy gifts. There are also Teach to Draw classes and room tours that you can take. If you have an arty side, you can take a class to learn how to draw characters from your favorite Disney movies.
